Maybe twitter jail? After tweeting 100 times a day it won't let you tweet for awhile afterwards that's probably why. It'll tell you that you reached the limit for a day

May be you got problem with uploading your tweet.Check your internet connection and run ccleaner.Then try again.

When twitter gets a lot traffic the server goes down automatically and comes up after while
