it may be the following reasons :
1. facebook is under maintainance 'cause there are plenty of users
2. also check whether "Caps Lock" is on while you are trying to enter password.
3.. if it keeps saying "incorrect password" then reason may be that your account is being hacked
try resetting the password with your registered mail

Make Sure you Put in the Correct Email Address and Password If your Password is Not Working Try Hitting Forgot Password And Put in your Email Address and Reset your Password By Clicking on the Password Reset Link in the Email
If it Says Account Disabled Than your Account is Deleted
if it Says Facebook is Running Maintenance on your Account Than you Cant Access it Until They Turn your Profile Back on
