OK, so what actually happens when you make someone a close friend on Facebook? I mean, like do they get notified about it? Will they receive my status updates like I would receive there's? I'm just wondering and a tad confused that's all. Thanks

You get regular nwes feeds from them that's all

They are not notified, and you will just get all their recent updates and you can go onto this menu where you only see all their feeds.
