I know this isn't much to go on, but I know the first name of someone and the town in which they live, is there any hope of me finding them on Facebook, and if so, how do I do it?

Type in their first name an look for their picture.

Not very likely. I am sure there are several people
in the town by the same first name.

1.) Type in their name and your city name to see if you can find them.
2.) If you know who they are friends with, look at that person and then look at their friends list.

On laptop or computer the best chance with is by writing their name in the search bar and then after on the left hand side it says search filters if you click on people there's a search tool that comes up where you can write their location. If she's on it and using her real name and location you may find her. Good luck hope you find her.
