When someone changes their profile pic it shows up on newsfeed. But how come the same post shows up again on newsfeed a few days later? Is it just someone wrong with fb?

I don't think there is any problem with Facebook. It might also depend on how many friends you have. The post itself shouldn't be showing up after it has been made but there is another explanation why it might show up again. The reason you are probably seeing the same post again is because that user keeps changing his/her profile picture to the same picture. Or she/he is sharing his/her profile picture so friends can see it and like it. I think this has to do with the user and not Facebook.
