Look for groups of people who are interested in the things that interest you. It's the same on Facebook as it is in real life. Finding people whose interests are the same as yours is really the best way to find "good" friends.
Look for something that interests you using Google. For example, if you're interested in scuba diving, Google "scuba diving" and look for a scuba diving group that has a Facebook page.
Connect with that group on Facebook and dive in.

Just like the college/university pages of your school and college and there you will see people of our trait or like the pages of any activity like swimming chess whatever you do and you will probably find people like yours there.
