on facebook there is normal inbox messages but there is also other messages. Why are they in other instead of inbox and why dont i know any of them in other?

inbox is for your friends and others is from people who do not know you or are not yet friends

people you dont have listed as a friend on facebook cannot send messages to your inbox.... their messages go to the "other"

The "inbox" is friends with you and the "other" is not friends with you.
