Is it possible to update it endlessly & somehow get my username under trending topics ? Haha .

You can't really get your own up that high, I think- usually the trending topics have thousands or millions of people using that tag to get it that high.
I think they probably also have an algorithm to make sure it is all different people who are posting about that topic (so using a bot to repeatedly put up a word or phrase doesn't work because they'll recognize it as all from the same account and count it only as one hit for that trend)
The only way to do it is to do something newsworthy that everyone will talk about!
