How do I appear offline on Facebook? - Tash - 12-06-2013 07:21 PM
I'm on my iPod touch, and if I'm going out or going to bed, obviously I'm going to sign out... But apparently i'm still shown online cause people are sending me messages and getting annoyed with late replies.
I go on Facebook on safari, I have the messenger app and Facebook app on my mobile. If I sign out of all these, am I off line? Thanks

Turn of Chat. Check this on the right hand bottom of the facebook page. I have mine permanently turned off, because I don't like being endlessly bothered by people wanting to chat.
