I don't go on Facebook anymore but I keep getting texts from Facebook how do I stop it??? ( by the way I don't have a smartphone so they are actual texts)

It sounds like your cellphone is still linked to your facebook profile. You can easily remove this by going into your facebook's account settings then removing the phone number yourself. This way you no longer receive alerts/messages directly to your cellphone.
