If you sent a message to someone and it says "sent" (im using an iphone) until the day after that it still says sent even if he's online... What does that mean? He can really see it or he hasnt seen it yet?

They have to click on the chat window for it to be seen, so chances are they have seen it

It just means the person you have sent the message had opened your chat conversation(your last message) after your last response, basically it means he saw your message.Hope this answer your query.
