Okay here are some tips...
1) Tweet FUNNY stuff, not boring.
2) Tweet regularly.
3) Follow everyone back.
4) Get friends to give you shout outs, but don't beg.
5) Hashtag something that interests you e.g. Green day then follow people who are interested in the same things you are, they're more likely to follow back.
6) Mention that you follow back in your bio.
7) Tweet funny comments back to someone who you follow, they may follow you back.
8) Make sure your picture IS NOT an egg! Make sure you have a dp of yourself, a background picture and a header.
9) Tweet about stuff you care about whether it's cracking jokes, music or you're favorite tv shows.
10) Have fun and don't panic, I remember when I was on 49 followers for 2 years now I have 600+!:-)
11) Tweet pictures as well as normal tweets.

1. Make sure your profile is complete with an avatar that shows your face and a solid bio.
2. Tweet well & tweet often and people will follow you.
3. Follow people who follow people that are like you.
4. Ask people to retweet you.
5. Search for tweets with keywords related to your topics of interest.
6. Use hashtags.
7. Regularly unfollow people who haven't followed you back.
8. Repeat your most popular tweets.
