Your profile (not news feed) > Friends > Edit (top right) > Edit privacy.

Go to your Friends List Click on the Pencil than Click on Edit Privacy and you Can Set your Friends List to Private
(Please Note Mutual Friends Will Still Show Up That You Can Not Make Private)

It's very simple.
Goto your profile → Click on Friends → Press Edit button(a pencil icon) → Select "Edit Privacy" → Select "Only Me" from the first drop down box.
Done.
