It gets very annoying when I see somethin like "this person likes this" an it shows what they like on my news feed. Please tell me how to get rid of this

To see LESS of a friend in your newsfeed, put that friend to ACQUAINTANCE list (under Friends)
To see NONE of a friend in your newsfeed, go to their timeline ➤ Friends ➤ untick Show in Newsfeed.
