My mom's on mobile, and she accidentally pressed that little plus sign while under the Friend request tab. Can anyone tell me what it does? She really wants to know.

If you're talking about the plus sign next to a person's name, then she just added that person as a friend.
If she didn't mean to, then she should go online and cancel the request.
