Here is my problem: I am the owner of a business in the service industry. My employees sign a non compete agreement upon employment with my company not to solicit clients. However with this new age of social media it's hard to stop client soliciting. Since we are a business we have our facebook fan page set to public so anyone can see it. But some of my former employees can see it as well and then they private message our clients who comment or like status updates on our page. Is there any way to block/ban someone who has not actually liked our page? Should we switch to the setting where people have to like the page in order to see it?

The answer is "NO", you can't do that, everyone on Facebook can access your page unless its in "Unpublished mode"
In the "Unpublished mode" only admins can see the page.
