for viewing facebook in Tamil , go to account settings and Languages then Choose Tamil as Primary Language.
for writing you have to use any Tamil Editors (azhagi, NHM writer, ekalappai etc) or use google tranliterate http://www.google.com/intl/ta/inputtools/cloud/try/ then copy paste to facebook post
if you like typing Tamil directly you may need to install Tamil LIP for windows (if you are using windows OS) detail available in microsoft's Indian language portal. http://bhashaindia.com/Pages/Home.aspx
