I don't think you can. When someone has poked me, it shows up in my email that "what's his name has poked you"
I don't think it can be done on a cell phone. I could be wrong but this is only from my personal experience.
Maybe you can test it out with a friend on Facebook. Ask them to "Poke" you, and see if it comes up on your phone or notifications.

I don't know how to do that if you use FB apk, since it's different for each mobile type, or operating system.
But maybe, after you read the following, you'll be able to find it with your FB apk.
Now if we access Facebook via browser by its https://m.facebook.com (mobile site).
Click ≡ at the top left, see "Pokes"? click it, you'll know what to do next, type the name of the one you want to poke etc.
