You don't need to pay to use or upgrade facebook. If you see an email or a web page that tells you to pay for this, it is a scam, don't do it.

According to Mark zuckeberg Facebook is free and will always be. So there is nothing like upgrade. Everything that claims to be an upgragde is just a scam.
