Every post that my friends post on favebook, I get notifications in my yahoo mail and i want to keep this from happening

Don't use yahoo as your email address for facebook. Also, you may want to make your friends just friends not close friends.

This company pays you to have a program running on your computer does not have to do anything else, just leave the program running while you have turned on your computer.

Go to Account Settings ➤ Notification ➤ Email ➤ tick the third choice: "Only notifications about your account, security and privacy".

Go to your account settings, then click on email notification, select what emails you want to receive from facebook if you want : "Only notifications about your account, security and privacy" click on that one.
