I have been married for 5 months and am wondering what to put. My situation is a little unusual as I am married to my friend with benefits guy to help keep him here and get permanent residency.
So should it be 'it's complicated' or 'married'??

If your friends know about your situation then you should put "it's complicated", then they'll understand, but if they don't know about it just put "married".

You are married, no matter the situation. Try to make the marriage word, using a complicated status will make him hardly love you. Love is all about companionship and understanding, so choose wisely.
