I want to open a facebook acct for my son on my computer. How can I do that? - Russell - 12-13-2013 05:18 PM

I already have an acct in my name

why did you use your own name?

first of all, your son has to be at least 13 years old to have an account, if he is not 13, then you are breaking the rules - and facebook can detect it when you are breaking the rules, you cannot just ignore the rules

you create your son's account by using HIS email and HIS name and HIS REAL age when you create the account - facebook doesnt let you change it later

if your son is under 13, you will need to use your own account to create a "page" for him - a "page" is not the same thing as a "profile"

to create a "page" - log into your account, and then type "create page" in the facebook search bar, and it will walk you thru it

Its simple, first goto facebook.com, if your acc opens then log out it. Then in login page at right bottom corner you will see a link 'create a new account' , click it. In submission form you have to provide a different email id which is never used in any facebook acc to activate.
