Is business marketing considered a social studies class? - chubbycaption134 - 10-13-2012 08:42 PM

I'm a sophomore in high school and I don't have a history class so I'm wondering is essentials of business marking is considered a class like history.

I wouldn't classify that as a social studies course. There are certain aspects of marketing that could touch upon that discipline, such as consumer behavioral psychology, demographics, psychographics, or market segmentation with a basis in sociology. However, the course you're referring to sounds like an introductory course, and I doubt it would cover any of those topics sufficiently if at all. Therefore, I don't think "business marketing" as an introductory topic course would be seen as a social studies class.
