Facebook is a community where people use their real identities. We require everyone to provide their real names, so you always know who you're connecting with. This helps keep our community safe.

You may not be able to change your name if:

You reach the maximum number of name changes allowed
You were asked to verify your name on Facebook
You had a Facebook representative change your name

If you don't have the option to add a new name to your account, you may have the option to use one of the names you've already added to your account. You can also add an alternate name (ex: maiden name, nickname or professional name). If your real name isn’t listed on your account and you’re unable to change it, Go to https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/245617802141709

you can change your name three times, after reaching this limit you will need a scan copy of your national id card to change your name again.
