How to tell your parents about online friends? - Cailigh - 12-15-2013 03:49 AM

I've been talking to this girl for over a year now and her older older. The girl is same age as me. We skype/factime and call each other a lot so i know they're real. But I'm going on vacation in a few months to their city with my family and i really want to meet them but i don't know how to ask my mum?

There's not a simple method, an easy trick, just say it clearly and simply. But don't be surprised if your parents say no - they paid for the holiday, they may have already decided what the days will involve. Your negotiating position on this is non-existent. And if they say yes, then it should be all of you meeting their family, not just the two of you meeting up - safety demands it.

Ask your friend to meet you wherever your parents are going for the day Smile That way you wont have to say anything to them.

Wait until your there then just ask if its okay that you met her somewhere.
