I've seen that you can do it the other way around, but I'm really interested in the option of adding tumblr button on my facebook profile page.

All these people are soar douches. Even i din know about how to link tumblr to facebook... Searched for some answers, but their inability of explaining stuff, did nothing but rather confused me even more. So i explored Tumblr a bit, and figured it out myself
You need to go to 'Untitled', and then Blog Settings, *scroll down a bit* After 'Submissions' , there's an option of facebook, and then twitter. Hit the 'share posts on your timeline' button. and there you go. Also you need to go and search for "tumblr" (App) on facebook so that you can redirect it to your facebook newsfeed.
