I just want someone to stop messaging me as they keep spamming me. I don't want to report them or block them I just want them not to be able to send me messages.

When you turn off chat all it does is simply say your unavailable. Any one can still message you though. Honestly the only way for anyone to stop messaging you is to block them.

It doesn't work on my iphone, don't know why, but probably will on the computer x

It only means your name doesn't show on the Online Now section but if they go to your profile, they can still message you. It sucks it only does that /:
