Both are two different objectives to compare.
For answers of your questions? If so, yahoo is preferred. In case of Facebook, your message will not reach everyone unless you are friend for everyone.

my opinion is for getting a better solution for a problem or question then prefer Yahoo Answer because in facebook, the people you may know only answer or see the question, it will not rich to everyone but in yahoo answer it will reach to many unknown person and you may get a better answer.

Both sites have different objects. Facebook is a social media site for entertainment and relationships But Yahoo Ans is a knowledge building website, here we can ask any doubts and people gives the answers. Yahoo answers is huge place to solve our query.

I am getting board when i use Facebook. I like Yahoo answer because i can find a sensible discussion on meaningful topics.
