Hacking is illegal. There is never a good excuse to hack someone else's account.
If these are your friends, talk to them. Tell them what you're thinking and ask if they have a problem with you. If you don't trust their answers, then you don't trust them as friends, so end the friendships.
You kids make way too much drama out of things.

There's no need to hack and I doubt there's a way to hack into someone's facebook without email or password.
