Search on facebook for an application called Status Shuffle - BEST status updates I have ever posted.
But make sure when you find one to copy and paste it to your home page status. Otherwise it will show you got it from status shuffle and you can't take the credit for an awesome status
You can also search for different categories eg. Comedy, Fun, Witty

You can give some touching proverbs, deserving proverbs.. that makes people very encourages
