Can you block certain trends from appearing on twitter? - Molly - 10-13-2012 10:57 PM

Is there actually a way to block specific types of trends that simply don't interest you on twitter, in order to see other, less popular but more appealing trends? Those involving the likes of 'Justin Bieber' would serve as a prime example of something specific I am wondering whether you can remove from your trends bar.

You cannot. Twitter will block a trend if it has been trending for over 2 days or it involves a curse word or something inappropriate. You can block people but not trends on Twitter.

You can ignore the trends because unless you are a twitter administrator there is nothing you can do. For further explanation contact http://www.ihelpline.com/Twitter/I122?3p=1
