I would like to either edit the message I sent or permanently delete message. I'm wondering if I delete the conversation does it just get deleted from my inbox? Is there a way I can remove it from the recipients?

Nope, it only gets deleted from your inbox. You can't remove it from theirs.

Sorry but no, you can only delete the message from your side, the other person would still have it and they would have to delete it.
