It was hidden before, now it shows and the option to hide it from the timeline is gone..ty

go to your timeline, then click "update info" in the top right
then click on the edit button next to "basic information"
then you will find the audience selector to the right of your birth day, and birth year... change it there

You have the option to edit the visibility of your b'day in your profile.
