I only have 278 followers on instagram! One of my friends just made an instagram like a week ago and she has about 400+ followers. How? How can you get more?

You need to post good pictures, like actual pictures and make sure they're quality. Plenty of apps to help you enhance photos. Also, you need to do a lot of tagging when you post pictures. Use keywords that go with your photos and use the hashtag. Next thing, "like" people's pictures and compliment them on their pictures. You're not going to get followers by bring inactive.
LASTLY: Do't post pictures with any text! It's annoying. Instagram is for pictures not pictures of words. Leave that to Twitter.
Follow my steps and you'll get followers that's how I got over 9,000 on mine @DaveTesh
