I have a app on my phone that tells me who unfollows me from instagram. Sometimes I see that randomly people unfollow me for no apparent reason(especially if they're my friend in real life) and I wonder if it was because they deleted their instagram account and thats how it pops up. Can someone please answer my question!

You could search for their account and see if it still exists, if not then they probably just deleted it, if it does, then they unfollowed you manually.
