Facebook Profile Picture Problem? - Adam - 12-23-2013 11:37 PM
When I post a picture and I make it my profile picture, it creates a duplicate of the picture but it's likes and comments are separate plus the description is gone. What really bothers me is the original photo had been taken off the timeline and into the photos section. What I REALLY want to do is make my profile picture redirect to the original photo. Please help

Hmm... never happened to me. Let me tell what I did.
I usually put my uploaded pic either directly to an album or via status update; after several status updates, I move those pic to the respective album that I've created.
I opened that pic from the created album, made it as my profile pic, there's a duplicate pic in the Profile Picture album, but, the 'original' pic still there in the album.
In short, I never directly made a profile pic from Timeline album; is this that make your 'original' pic in Timelines disappeared I don't know, but it seems the only different of what you did & what I did.
So, why don't you try that?
ie. move first you pic to other album that you created (the only possible way) before you make it your profile pic & see what happened? and do please tell me...

what u have done ... is that u posted a timeline photo ... and when u make it a profile photo it will be duplicate ...
so if u want to post only one photo ... upload a profile photo it will get the comments u want ... and one place (profile pictures)
