Like when i change my cover photo & it appears on there timeline . Yeah , i dont want that . I just want to change it but have no one find out about it , & if there interested then they can just look at my proflie . Is there any way i keep this from happening , ?

When you change the cover photo, it will appear on your timeline. If you want to remove it : https://www.facebook.com/help/269672196396014

You can't change the privacy of cover photos, they are always in public. Facebook policy.
