You could just block FB at your email account.
There is a setting which I could find for you were I not currently in China where FB is blocked :| Sorry.

Go to SETTINGS then DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT then check the box that says OPT OUT OF FACEBOOK EMAILS there u go
