It will say that I have notification's but the when I go to see exactly what notification I have it won't refresh it just stays the same and I know there are notifications cause I've seen more likes on my photos. It just don't show up when I see who has followed me and who has liked a pic. I'm using an android instagram application.... are there any steps that I can take to fix this?

Could just be bad internet... reset wifi and logout then back in. If that doesnt work than uninstall instgram and install it again. If THAT doesnt work idk how to help ya
