If we deleted the app and downloaded it again, did our account get deleted or would we be able to log back in once it's back on?

I'm pretty sure its down right now. Mine isn't working either, it wouldn't load anything so I deleted the app and re-downloaded it, but now it's saying my password is wrong. I even try going on the computer and it won't let me on the site. I feel the EXACT same way you do. I would just restart your phone or re-download the app. Hopefully I am a bit of help! Best of Luck. But I definitely think it's instagram that is having the problem!

Read the second answer on this feed that was posted 11 hours ago. The answer is in the link. Click the link and read the Forbes story. A storm in the East Coast last night took down Amazon's Elastic Cloud resulting in Netflix, Instagram, Pintrest, and a few others to go down. I'm sure they're working to fix this and everything should be back up, hopefully soon. Stop posting answers about rebooting your phone. It's not your phone. It's the server that's down.

I thought it was only me too, but now after I googled it, it looks like the "Amazon Cloud" went out and knocked out Netflix, Instagram, and a whole bunch of other sites. The Instagram Facebook page says that an electrical storm in Virginia last night knocked out most of their servers. I live close to the Virginia/North Carolina border, and we had winds 70mph+ and severe rain. After the storm ended, I realized I couldn't use Instagram. Hopefully it will be back up and running sooner than later. I have pictures to post! Feel free to follow me!
