Well I want to create a new Facebook account via my smartphone, but when I tap "Sign up for Facebook" and tap "New Password" and I start typing in the password it is visible in the box (every letter, number and symbol). Is it unsafe to create a new account via my smartphone or does this happen to you?

Some applications don't obfuscate passwords typed on the screen, I wouldn't worry about it.
