There are services that sell Twitter subscribers but most of them are scam.You have to find the ones that popular people (such as Lady Gaga,Justin Bieber and other celebrities) use.
Almost half of all their twitter subscribers are fake.

Try to be your self. Follow people of your interest, retwwt their tweets and most important twwet some interesting stuffs. Aviod any automated twitter follower service if you want to be real on twitter.

if you want free followers, you will have to follow some people... and retweet their tweets! Write #Followback or #follow4follow in search their will be many accounts they will be posting
followback 100% RT etc. Do it and follow them and you will see the number of followers increasing.
