Annoying Facebook Friend Requests? - me2000 - 12-26-2013 02:49 PM
In the past week I've received quite a few friend requests on facebook, all from accounts that have only been active a few hours and who I share no mutual friends with. Each time it's happened I've blocked them, but it's getting annoying now! My profile is as private as possible.
Any idea why this keeps happening? Has it happened to you?

Someone really wants to see your profile it seems perhaps a scammer or someone like an admirer or ex friend who wants to spy on you. People occasionally get names wrong or they are those weird people who friend randomly just to make their friend count into thousands. I used to get every so often foreign friend requests and judging by the profile pictures i would just google them to see if they exist at all but it was highly likely they came off either a page or game i liked.

can't see how these people are annoying you, you say you're blocking them, keep on blocking them

Go to your privacy settings , you wound see an option that says "who can send you Facebook friend request" click on the audience selector tool next to that option and select friends of friends then only your mutual friends can send you friend request
