If I have someone as a friend on facebook and I deactivate my facebook account. can they still unfriend me or block me? I added someone and they accepted my request however I know they will block me after a couple a days so I deactivate my facebook to prevent them from doing so. So my question again can they unfriend me or block me if my account is deactivate?

If you've deactivated your Facebook noone will be able to see you until you reactive it. So that also means noone can block you because they won't be able to see your profile or account.

they can still remove you as a friend if your account is deactivated

They Wont Be Able to Block you But They will be Able to Unfriend you Tho if They Want
