http://getcaptivatingcopy.com/facebook-redesign-101/ My facebook home page still looks like that but my ticker is gone all of a sudden? What's wrong with it?

Mine has disappeared too - was OK yesterday but been missing all day today

mine is also gone. I am pretty sure Facebook is getting rid of it but hopefully a good substitute will replace it. I liked it because the posts over there did not junk up my newsfeeds. I did read, however, that most Facebook users do not really see it as it is not visible for mobile users. I hope they make something move visible for all types of mobile devices.
