i don't use twitter, but i'm alllways hearing about one thing or another "trending" on Twitter. i have two questions on that. What exactly does that mean, and who cares about that; why should we care about that?

Its just what most people are talking about on twitter. People like to know so they seem in the know and trendy, its just sad.

Trending is very useful to business using Twitter as a voice to there industry.
