how do you read someone's facebook messages? - Emily - 12-30-2013 08:32 AM

im getting pissed about my brothers reading my messages, i want to know how they read them, then i want to know how do i do it to theirs. another question, if i delete a conversation can my brothers still read it if they weren't apart of the conversation,

Well, they can't, unless you leave your Facebook open, or unless he knows your password. And don't do it to theirs; reciprocation only leads to escalation, plus, it's illegal.

To put it another way, change your password and log out when you are done using Facebook. There is no other way someone can be reading your messages or conversations.

I agree with The Teller. They cannot read your messages unless they have access to your Facebook account, which means they either know your password or the login information is saved on the browser. A simple way to fix this is to change your password and don't check the Remember Me option or say Yes to save the password.

If you send and receive Private Messages to friends on Facebook, they cannot be read by your brothers. But, if you post on your Timeline or your friend's timeline, it can be seen by all.
