i've been to two or three colleges and every one of them has people, that wen't to the same college as me, on facebook, should i be adding people that have been to the same colleges as me
with my previous employers!i've looked them up on facebook and some of them have nobody listed on facebook, but there are alot of people, that have worked for the same employers as me.
the thing is! my facebook is full of strangers and people i've never met. i would be happier if i was adding people from the places where i've been to college or worked.
i have a facebook, but i don't have anybody i actually know to add
i need a way to know people first
no i am not new to facebook. i've used it for six years. about a month i had added 400 people and i recently wen't through my friend list and deleted/blocked 300 people, because they were strangers, because i don't know, because most of them didn't even talk to me.
because at the moment i've only got 100 people added, still alot of them are people i don't know, haven't met, they are strangers
the thing is. i don't have alot of friends. i have no true female friends. i'm lacking in social abilities through lack of socialising. if i want to socialise, which i do, then i'm going to need friends to socialise with and socialising in person isn't the answer. to go to the pub, clubbing, holidays, day trips. i need friends to do that with. i don't go to the pub and i've never been on holiday or clubbing either
i cannot make friend requests to people i know in real life, because there is nobody i know in real life, that i know, to add. the friends i've got i've allready added

remove friend which you not know form your facebook friend list.

Hang on a minute...I take it you're new to fb (so am I - ish). You also sound like you don't actually know anybody in real life - I assume this isn't true.
Don't just go around randomly sending friend requests to people you were acquainted with in the past - there's no point and your account will just get clogged up with stuff from people you hardly know (and eventually people you've never heard of - I've got a couple of people on mine who I have absolutely NO idea how they got there). So unless you have nothing better to do all day than check facebook (and there are people that don't do anything else), just start off slowly.
Start by making friend requests to people you know in real life. Then you will get to see eventually who their mutual friends are - you can then start adding them aswell. Then, after a bit you'll start getting friend requests from other people.
I like to see face book as a tool for doing 2 things - the first, to have a laugh with pics and links with people you know well (even people you see daily at work etc.), and secondly, a tool to look up old friends that you've lost contact with, and find out what they're up to.
