Hey there I sometimes go on 4chan for the funny memes and stuff but I clicked on a thumbnail and saw something utterly sickening now im really scared of the consequences

What was it? Was it porn? You have little detail. If it bothers you delete your history. If you thinks it's anything against the law go to the police

If you are afraid you have a virus (if you don't have one) install an AntiVirus program like MalwareBytes and run a "Full Scan" and wait for it to finish. If it finds anything make sure to remove it as soon as possible. If it doesn't find anything I guess you don't have to worry any longer. Also don't click on anything you don't trust
