My computer says I have to add a device...??? why cant I just move them? I am confused. really new to this windows 8 too.

you have to "upload" them
go to your facebook pictures folder, select to upload some pictures
then facebook will ask where you want to upload them from
select the folder on your computer the pictures are in, and then multi-select the pictures which you want to upload
